UNESCO Associated School

Founded in 1953, the UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet), commonly referred to as UNESCO Associated Schools, is a global network of more than 9000 educational institutions in 180 countries.

Member institutions – ranging from pre-schools, primary, secondary and vocational schools to teacher training institutions - work in support of international understanding, peace, intercultural dialogue, sustainable development and quality education in practice.

RGB was a school in cooperation with ASPnet for two years and has applied for international membership.

The four main pillars of learning today are:

• learning to know;
• learning to do;
• learning to be; and
• learning to live together

By taking part in the Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet) and conducting pilot projects, our school has the opportunity to make significant contributions to improve the quality of education by reinforcing these pillars.

Our students and teachers are proud of belonging to a worldwide UNESCO network.

We feel that we are part of the solution and not the problem.
